Bug ID: 43596 Summary: LibreOffice 5.4.0 doesn't render text properly Product: Wine Version: 2.15 Hardware: x86 URL: https://www.libreoffice.org/donate/dl/win-x86/5.4.0/en -US/LibreOffice_5.4.0_Win_x86.msi OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: dark.shadow4@web.de Distribution: ---
Created attachment 59009 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=59009 Picture of main window with windows version set to win7
LibreOffice 5.4.0 renders all fonts as completely black. Setting windows version to XP helps a tiny bit, but only affects the main window. LibreOffice programs like writer or calc remain unchanged.
Tested with both wine2.15 and wine-staging2.15. Note: When using normal wine, you need to set "MaxVersionGL".

--- Comment #2 from Andrey Gusev andrey.goosev@gmail.com --- Confirming. Disabling dwrite is a workaround.

--- Comment #3 from Nikolay Sivov bunglehead@gmail.com --- Disabling either d2d1 or dwrite triggers fallback. From the looks of it it could as well be dwrite problem, because d2d contents seems to render, e.g. you can see underlines for example, and text color is correct too.

--- Comment #4 from Nikolay Sivov bunglehead@gmail.com --- LibreOffice 6.2 (LibreOffice_6.2.0_Win_x86.msi), does not display this corruption for me, but that's only because dwrite/d2d path is now disabled. That happens because OpenGL support is disabled in runtime for whatever reason, to reproduce original issue use SAL_FORCEGL=1 variable when starting individual applications.

--- Comment #5 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- Does this still occur in Wine 7.9 (or later?)
