Sometimes, 'Panzer Elite Action' crashes when loading, running and has even
caused a main OS crash. The game tries to send error reports to their website.
Some graphics flash onscreen while story intro is running.

That's a kernerl driver bug, file a bug with your distribution.

Extract from Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex AND64 version.
My Gfx is incorrectly detected as GForce6200, but is actually GForceM7000!

I don't see how this information changes Dmitry's analysis. If running the
application causes a kernel panic, then the issue lies in kernel space.
