--- Comment #5 from Christoph Frick frick@sc-networks.de 2008-08-07 09:04:28 --- just for the files: i do not run pulseaudio and the sound is working in the full version of the game (intro - crashes later - see other (closed) bug) and other software runs fine with oss in wine. is there some hard evidence, that the problem is related to sound? have you tried the demo and does it work with alsa?

If you really want to play this game, you should install directx9 through
winetricks directx9
It works fine then (except for white trees).
