Bug ID: 46467 Summary: wine pre-loader Mac OS Mojave and Pronote 2018 Product: Wine Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: Mac OS X Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: blocker Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: luque.romero@free.fr
Two days ago Pronote client don't work, wine preloaded blocks pronote and close it. I can't save the report because the program error details don't create the report. After ten minutes I must close the window manually. "Loading detailed information, please wait ..." message block too. Thank you very much JMLR

--- Comment #1 from Olivier F. R. Dierick o.dierick@piezo-forte.be --- Not 'blocker'. Issue in a single app is 'normal'.

--- Comment #2 from Ken Thomases ken@codeweavers.com --- I found some issues with the preloader and macOS 10.14 (Mojave). I've submitted fixes: https://source.winehq.org/patches/data/157636 and https://source.winehq.org/patches/data/157635
If you're able to test a build with these patches, that would be helpful.

Hi There,
My setup is a mac with Mojave OS 10.14.4, have been running Wine 1.8.6, just fine prior to the actual version. It seems Wine starts but I don't see the Wine icon saying is ready, when I try to run Acestream, it tells me after awhile, that I can not connect to engine. I have done some troubleshooting, my conclusion is that Mojave 10.14.4 is creating a conflict from Wine 1.8.6 acting normal.
Thanks.

This sounds like it's a separate issue from what this bug report is about. Please open a new bug report about that. In any case, Wine 1.8.6 is very old. You should try with a new version.
The Mac preloader patches I mentioned previously have since been accepted and included in Wine 4.1.
