The EULA text for Paint.NET (with Mono installed) has regressed in 1.1.43. The text was already jumbled together, but now the problem has gotten worse. I did a regression test:

I have to revert both this and 531219f84d0d6fa236283e5c3d061b5f752df793 to resolve the problem. (Reverting only this commit causes it to die at startup; reverting only the other patch doesn't correct the problem.) Terminal output doesn't look useful (same as bug 22390).
On another note, native gdiplus only solves this regression, not the original problem... so they probably aren't related.

I see six corrupted areas in the 1.1.43 image vs. three in the 1.1.42 image. Also, the scrollbar seems to indicate that there's less space to scroll now, as if the text is being squashed together more than it was before. And native gdiplus behaves like 1.1.42.

IMO, just because something is broken already doesn't mean it should be left to accumulate extra problems... I noticed that the installer for Paint.NET 2.5 is hit harder by this: it was only slightly corrupted before, but now about half of the screen is unreadable.
If you don't think it's really a regression, though, I won't push the issue any further. I haven't found anything that worked correctly before which is affected, and the same commit fixed at least one bug that I know of.

We should fix the EULA display properly rather than worry about minor differences in the way it's broken.
