Lattice has a Design package for FPGA/CPLD design. After registration, starter packages may be downloaded on http://www.latticesemi.com/dynamic/index.cfm?fuseaction=view_documents&d... The installer uses Installshield.
The base package (isp7_0m1.FPGA.exe) seems to install fine. Do design for actual chips e.g. ispLEVER-Starter Precision RTL Synthesis Module module is needed. Running the installation of this package (isp7_0m1.Precision.exe), spits out a lot of messages
err:storage:BlockChainStream_WriteAt not enough blocks in chain to write data
and then
err:storage:Storage32Impl_SmallBlocksToBigBlocks conversion failed: resRead = 0x
80030109, resWrite = 0x00000000 and on exit a message box pops up telling An error (-5012: 0x80070057) has occured ..
