With today's git, if you install Firefox 2, and then
try to copy a URL from Linux firefox into Windows firefox,
you often get one character of garbage on the end.

I was able to reproduce it by copying some text from Opera, Firefox or
Konqueror (while browsing the web) to Notepad, sometimes i get one or two
additional characters on the end, sometimes not. Copying text from other apps
works fine.

Copy and paste of text should just plain work.

Affects key feature and multiple apps, so nominating for 1.0.

This patch fixes the issue for me. FWIW, you can test the issue in wine
notepad, no need to download/install windows firefox.
