The version numbers are the same for the two branches; the only way to tell
which branch was tested is for is if the user mentions it in the body of the
report.

I just opened add test data page and browsed the options of wine versions. It's
still lacking staging and contains some really old wine versions, but the list
is a lot shorter than when you open bugs against wine bug tracker. This should
be easily fixable. Also I would recommend removing 1.6.2 and older from the
list.

Maybe this could be accomplished by a simple checkbox?

From what I've seen the staging version numbers are identical to the
development version, it's just that staging gets released a bit later than dev?

There is now a checkbox on the test submission form for users to indicate they
have used Wine-staging. When it is checked, "-staging" is appended to the
release  number displayed in the test results table.
