Bug ID: 38083 Summary: Exact Audio Copy: wineserver crashes after burning a CD Product: Wine Version: 1.7.18 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wineserver Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: olibuntu@arcor.de Distribution: ---
When burning of a CD is completed in Exact Audio Copy 1.0 beta 4, wineserver crashes with the following message in the terminal:
wineserver crashed, please enable coredumps (ulimit -c unlimited) and restart.
The CD is fine. But it's annoying that one has to kill the application and four processes in C:\windows\system32\ afterwards and restart EAC.

--- Comment #2 from Olibuntu olibuntu@arcor.de --- The terminal output is (starting from the beginning of the burning process):
fixme:ntdll:NtSetInformationToken unimplemented class 4 fixme:advapi:ImpersonateLoggedOnUser ((nil)) fixme:ntdll:NtQueryVolumeInformationFile 0xc: volume info not supported fixme:mountmgr:harddisk_ioctl Unsupported ioctl 4d014 (device=4 access=3 func=405 method=0)
These lines all come from the very beginning of the burning process. In the end, when everything is done, the CD tray opens and the application hangs. There is no more terminal output, especially no line about wineserver crashing, but wineserver is gone from the process list. I can't find a core dump file.

--- Comment #3 from Olibuntu olibuntu@arcor.de --- I found the core dump in /tmp/.wine-1119/server-806-68231/core
