However when I set the affinity to 1 core of my processor (as suggested by GyB) the game gets a very noticeable speed boost. I'm not sure is it the same as on Windows because the music still ends before I manage to finish level.
taskset -c 0 wine hydorah.exe (this sets the affinity of processor)
