Edius is a very powerful video editing tool. It installs well, but after the dialog where you choose the profile and all... it doesn't move after that... when you click 'create' nothing happens.

Was it working properly?

Well, the application managed to reach the main window after I did profile/project creation, but I didn't perform any more testing afterwards.

I cannot create a new 'preset'; thus the start button is faded out.

I'm using Gentoo, so I compile from sources. Maybe some options are missing? Currently it's compiled with the following -

X alsa dbus gsm jpeg lcms mp3 ncurses openal opengl png ssl threads truetype win32 win64 xml

Edius 6.5 was compatible with windows seven

The installation of Quicktime 7.73 is successful The installation of Edius 6.5 is successful too.

However when starting up the program crashes. I attached the log of wine error backtrace.

Any help would be very much appreciated!
