Summary: Overloading of CPU when executing EPIM Product: Wine Version: 1.2-rc7 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: saverio.pub@inbox.com
Since the release 1.2rc4 or a slightly earlier one, Wine overloads the CPU when executing EPIM.
This wasn't happening before the aforementioned version(s).
I can reproduce it every time. I don't notice the any noticeable slowdowns in the execution of the application, although when I look at the CPU stats, I see wineserver at 50%+ and EssentialPIM.exe at 20%+; I am on a dualcore system.
The O/Ss I tested on are Ubuntu Karmic and Lucid.

--- Comment #2 from Saverio Miroddi saveriuspublicus@aim.com 2010-09-12 03:52:08 CDT --- Bug doesn't reproduce anymore on Wine 1.3.2; CPU is at regular levels (~8% for the EPIM process).
