Recently i've tried to record ingame video using fraps via wine and i've
encountered very huge fps drop (from 105 to 15) which is definitly caused by
some sort of bug because on windows box this drop is nowhere so drastic.

I think that it may be related to bug

I think this is not a bug since I had extreme fps drop in Windows as well when
recording video - it is likely caused by the fact, that recording requires huge
amount of hard drive i/o and cpu, which naturally effect fps.

There is difference between drop on linux and windows, i got pretty much
similar dps on both boxed in eve (~110) but on windows it drops to ~40 which is
perfeclty playable, but on linux it drops to 15 which is not.

This ticket has not been updated for over 900 days.

Is this still an issue in wine version 1.6-rc3 or higher or is this to be
closed as abandoned ?
