Between Wine 1.5.28 and Wine-1.5.28-gb93e61a, Trackmania Nations slowed down
from ~56 to ~32 fps. The regression has been spotted by my automated
performance tests:

This bug is mostly a reminder for myself or any other volunteer to bisect this
problem.

A smaller drop can also be seen in World in Conflict on the same machine. The
r300g and r600g test boxes are unaffected.

Closing INVALID.

This turned out to be a classic case of PEBKAC. I changed a bios setting that
allowed the cpufreq driver to load. The ondemand governor throttled the CPU
down for some reason.

While there may or may not be a problem with the ondemand governor, Wine's
definitely not to blame here.
