I just tried it and Minecraft for Windows 10 needs a LOT of libraries that have not yet been added to Wine. See the attachment for the list.

Would you mind adding a AppDB page for that? As far as I was aware, running Minecraft Windows 10 Edition isn't even supposed to be possible because it's a UWP application; so I have no idea how you even tested this nor how to possibly test it myself in the future.

It is possible to run UWP apps if you can get ahold of either their appx/appxbundle file to extract (they're essentially just zip files with the program files inside, and 7zip can open them) or copying the program files from a Windows computer as they're located in a hidden folder labeled WindowsApps located in the C:\Program Files folder.

Ah, that's good to know; should be in a FAQ :p I assume that it wouldn't support updates? Good to know regardless though, thanks.
Can the appx even be downloaded or does this specific instance require copying from a Windows installation?

The appx can optionally be obtained using this guide: https://www.linuxadictos.com/en/uwp-como-ejecutar-este-tipo-de-aplicaciones-... which uses a tool to directly pull an appx file from the Microsoft Store website granted you have the link to your app's store page. Surprisingly it also works with Xbox Store apps since they are also the same format(Even the uncompressed files give a Windows executable from the game I've tried it on, which was an exclusive game known as FS Sandbox)
And yes, unfortunately updates aren't supported so every time a new one is released you'll have to redownload the entire appx.
