Funny graphical bug that causes the death animation, for characters that emit smoke when they die (eg mythic dawn), to display a flat greenish background and a shimmering green blob in place of of the death animation. It goes away once the death animation is done, or if I look away so that it is not on the screen.
This happens for any magical effect (my main character has a reflect damage shield, and it happens any time I get attacked). This doesn't happen in third person mode though.
I think it might also be the same thing as the solid background (which is the same colour as the skysphere) when the inventory window is visible (the background is meant to be dimmed and desaturated). (See the applications screenshots section.)
I expect that they use the same kind of shader.
