Screenshot

Rescuing the Mudokons in the first hidden area in "Stockyard Escape" results in
the "Mudokon Status Indicator" for that area showing -3 casualties, among other
errors; a screenshot is attached displaying the bug.

I have just re-installed Abe's Oddysee and have since upgraded to Wine 1.2-rc3,
and have begun to re-play the game up to that point. I tried loading from the
savegame I posted here, and found that the stats were still incorrect and the
same as before.

Well, I've played to the same point as before where the bug appears but using
Wine 1.2-rc3 this time, and lo and behold the status indicator shows the
correct figures. Note, however, that the old savegame would show incorrect
values for some reason.

I created hex dumps of both savegames (my current un-broken one and the old
one) and noticed that there were only a handful of differences. I've uploaded
that savegame in the event that anyone wants to look at it, perhaps to figure
out what the problem was, though I doubt that's likely.

Yep, I've gone and tested that part of the game and was not able to reproduce
the bug (though I experienced a few other minor glitches that I should
investigate when I have time relating to the sound cutting out) in wine-1.3.14;
it's fixed now.
