------- Additional Comments From nospam@thenerdshow.com 2005-26-09 08:45 ------- I don't think anyone can install IE6 using the installer anymore. Slashdot has reported that some large company we don't want to mention has decided to check for the presence of wine on windows update (IE6 installs via windows update so this would make insatllers pretty much useless). Those in the know seem to be using a tool called ies4linux to download from a third party site and extract the cab files manually. Then it can be run with the addition of the usual dlloverrides. As a casual user I fear that support for this may be dwindling.
