The demo for Rites of War can be obtained from ZDNet Downloads. Its locate in
ZDNet  > Downloads  > Windows  > Games  > Strategy  > General  > Warhammer
40,000: Rites of War demo > Downloading

When I ran it there was a gap of time (unknown how long but 30+ seconds) before
the file compression tool ran. I was able to extract the demo. When I ran the demo:

wine RoWDemo.exe

I got this error:
