I found a public FTP download for this but unfortunately it doesn't work for me (connect timeout).
All vendor downloads are gone so you need to provide debug traces.

The crash in advanced mode seems to be same bug as bug 39209. I made a patch based on Focht`s analysis there, but i dont know if its correct; with the patch the crash in advanced mode is gone and the app starts fine.
Maybe someone with more knowledge about this area could review patch?

The attached patch from Staging makes the program start fine.
This ``proves`` that this bug is indeed a duplicate of bug 39209.
