I'm installing msxml4 using winetricks:
$ winetricks -q msxml3
$ winetricks msxml4

Installation is starting and I am going through all the steps. But in the end
in console I'm getting this:

NOTE: As I'm using arch packages, 10.9 is the latest I can test with ATM.

Only occurs in a 64-bit wineprefix if msxml3 is installed first using
winetricks. Both Staging and vanilla.

Workaround:
$ winetricks -q msxml3
$ WINEDLLOVERRIDES=msxml3=b winetricks -q msxml4

I don't know if this breaks anything, but it works around this issue.

So I'm guessing the native 64-bit msxml3.dll is causing the issue.

Same problem/error experienced on Wine-10.12 built from source.
(https://dl.winehq.org/wine/source/10.x/wine-10.12.tar.xz).

Same behaviour and error message as reported by Ken Sharp for Wine-10.10.

Changing the installation order to install msxml4 before msxml3 might work as a
workaround, too, at least there are no errors and winetricks considers both
installed.

Debian 12.10.0 bookworm, 6.1.0-37-amd64 (64-bit).
