If the built in d2d1 enabled, then numerous vst plugins fail to draw their user
interface. If I set the d2d1 to disabled, then the problem disappears.

This can be reproduced with the following freely available vst plugins:

Molot v0.3.1b x86
ToneBoosters TB Barricade v3.1.5 x86

The correct version of the ToneBoosters TB Barricade is v3.1.4 x86.

Nikolay, thank you.
Applying the mentioned registry setting makes the ui visible.
So this nullifies my bug report.
