Ok, I was checking out another bug using bleeding edge GIT and ran into this
problem.
So I unfortunately spent time bisecting/investigating a work in progress.

Actually my assumption was when patch sets for components get committed - like
the last msi [x/6] ones - they have some behavioural coverage without
loopholes/side effects.
