After fixing https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42299, the installation of
all components works (except for the driver, but I guess this is not that
critical). Thanks for this, already!

Now, all programs are able to launch, but not the main Programmer app.

Hack to get it to work

Seems to be an issue with GetActiveWindow. Attached hack makes the program
start.

patch from current wine-staging

Confirming. It crashes in wine, and wine-staging wine-2.0 (Staging)

But it does start in Wine-2.1. I veriefied that the patch that fixes this bug
is

As it doesn`t apply cleany to current wine (hunk fails in user32/tests), i
attached the part applies cleany and that fixes the bug here

@Reporter of bug: Could you try if you can get it running with the above patch,
then we can mark this as duplicate (i guess)

Unfortunately, I cannot build from source on my 64 bit Ubuntu machine, so I
can't try the patches.

But I can definitely state that it doesn't work for me on Wine 2.1
(winehq-devel from the ppa), neither with 32 nor 64 bit Wine arch. Is the
required patch missing from that build, such that it may work in a few days?

Sorry, that was my fault, I didn`t mean wine-2.1 but wine-staging 2.1 that is
wine-2.1 with on top of that the current patches (8-2-1017) from wine-staging.
If you wait for the newest release of wine-staging ( i dont know when its
released) coming out, you can try it yourself.

Hi, wine-staging 2.1 is now available. Could you upgrade and try running this
app in this release? Then we know for sure that this is fixed in wine-Staging
