Summary: Mac OS X install problems Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: Macintosh OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: P5 Component: test AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.com ReportedBy: kingofshadow@katamail.com
I have tried to compile wine on Mac OS X 10.2.3 but while configurating I get this error: .... .... checking dlfcn.h usability... no checking dlfcn.h presence... no checking for dlfcn.h... no checking for i586-mingw32msvc-gcc... no checking for i586-mingw32msvc-dlltool... no configure: error: could not find a way to build shared libraries. It is currently not possible to build Wine without shared library (.so) support to allow transparent switch between .so and .dll files. If you are using Linux, you will need a newer binutils.
