AOL 7.  Installs easily, and software runs up just fine but cannot find modem
at all.  Does not generate a log.

Unless you work on modem support yourself, it is very unlikely it will ever be
added to wine, especially since modems become more and more rare. Just make
sure your internet connection works for native linux programs then try to
configure the program not to use modem. Marking it as abandoned.

Abandoned is when the bug reporter stops responding to requests in the bug

If anything, resolved won't fix.

Reporter, can you try in a more recent version of wine? 0.9.3 is ancient, and
it's possible that a newer version may work.
