Does 'wine notepad' work?

Please attach terminal output. What is this other program you're talking about?

What Wine version? What distro? Where did you get Wine from and how was it
installed?

Attach (as a text file DO NOT PASTE) complete terminal output of a crash
running winecfg/notepad.

I'm experiencing the same issue since a short while ago, too.

One minute everything worked just fine, the next minute i see a lot of these
errors.

After half a minute or so, the program I wanted to start actually starts but
the errors continue.

This happens with regedit, winecfg, notepad, uninstaller and like every other
program I tried.

Hm. It's not showing a backtrace. Is that a clean WINEPREFIX?

This was Archlinux 64bit with the bin32-wine package
(http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=7915), but the problem seems to be
gone with a recent update (at least on my end).

Probably invalid. Original reporter didn't specify any details, and didn't
answer the questions.
