With current wine (1.1.13), 
http://campar.in.tum.de/personal/glocker/download/drop_setup_release_V1.03_a...
completes.  Or did you mean some other installer?

(The 2d viewer seems to work, but the 3d one
doesn't actually show any data, and crashed
with a null pointer when I tried one option.
But that's for another bug report.  Please
test it with wine-1.1.13 and file more bugs.)
