Summary: Regression: Radeon HD3200 no longer detected Product: Wine Version: 1.3.3 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: diafero@arcor.de
After updating to Wine 1.3.3, my ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card using the binary ATI driver (as shipped with Kubuntu 10.04) is no longer detected. Instead I get this in the console output several times:
fixme:d3d:init_driver_info Unable to find a driver/device info for vendor_id=0x1002 device_id=0x9620 for driver_model=2

--- Comment #1 from diafero@arcor.de 2010-09-19 04:35:40 CDT --- I am adding Roderick Colenbrander thunderbird2k@gmail.com to CC because I see he re-worked all the detection code for this latest wine release. I hope that is okay.

--- Comment #3 from Roderick Colenbrander thunderbird2k@gmail.com 2010-09-19 11:20:28 CDT --- For me no regression testing is needed. I recently rewrote all this code and like I missed the HD3200. I will send a patch shortly.

--- Comment #4 from Roderick Colenbrander thunderbird2k@gmail.com 2010-09-19 11:49:16 CDT --- I rechecked all cards and the HD3200 is the only ATI one I missed. I also missed the classic riva128 and probably I should add that one as well though when such a cards get detected in Wine something must be terribly wrong...
