Created attachment 47223 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=47223 Screenshot of problem
I've installed Microsoft Office 2007 from my work's volume license CD. I only installed Word, Powerpoint and Excel. Word works, but Excel and Powerpoint are both partially transparent. I can see the contents of my desktop, terminal, or whatever else is open and behind the office window. See screenshot.

--- Comment #1 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net --- Not happening here in KDE.
What desktop environment are you using, and have you tried disabling desktop effects?

--- Comment #2 from jgdominy@gmail.com --- I'm using Enlightenment E17 (v0.17.5). I'll check with various desktop setting. Resetting the compositor seems to do the trick, although this doesn't seem to be a permanent solution.

--- Comment #3 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for over a year. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.37 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.37 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).

--- Comment #4 from jgdominy@gmail.com --- I no longer use Enlightenment, and it can be a mission to install for testing. But I eventually tracked this down to an issues in their compositor, and an interaction with my graphics card. As far as I'm concerned, this bug can be closed.
