Bug ID: 37681 Summary: add required windows files for accessibility and screen reader support along with NVDA screen reader microsoft sapi5 with ESpeak. Product: Wine Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: joshknnd1982@gmail.com Distribution: ---
It is currently very difficult for visually impaired people who use screen readers to install and use applications in wine. Please add a winetricks package that installs microsoft accessibility components, installs and enables the NVDA screen reader with speech. make it somehow so whenever say you are visually impaired when ever you run something in wine NVDA will talk so people can use whatever windows apps they want with the free NVDA screen reader. thanks.

I'm not opposed to adding these components to winetricks, but you'll need to be more specific about what components are needed, I'm not familiar with these tools.

--- Comment #3 from H nasrinkhaksar3@gmail.com --- hi. i agree and vote for adding this great inhancement for wine. i am a blind user who dont know anything about coding and terminal, i just wanted to migrate to linux and use my windows programs on it! i have less than ten important programs and i realized that i can use most of them with wine, but the only issue for me is nvda! for the reason that nvda is not supported currently in wine, please read this link.
https://mail.gnome.org/archives/orca-list/2011-March/msg00263.html i realy love linux, need to migrate to it and its not possible for me to adopte to terminal and missing my windows programs!
