when trying to copy-paste some chunk of score, GP complains about paste fail
for some reason

Wine version? What is the error? Terminal output? Is there a demo/download?

Wine version is 2.20
No specific terminal output when copy/paste
You can just download trial version from
https://www.guitar-pro.com/en/index.php?pg=download, create new project, insert
some note on score, select it, then ctrl+c -> ctrl+v. Then generic message box
appears with failed to paste clipboard message (I think it can be related to
incorrect XML floating point format #44068, but bot sure)
