Summary: Please add support for ioctl 74080 Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: wubbbi@gmx.de
Hey guys :)
As I have seen in serveral forums and in the bugzilla here, there are many programms which do not run without "ioctl 74080" support. So I ask you if may someone could implement it. That would realy help me!
Its not a bug!!!!
I just ask to implement it to make my programms run:
E.g.:
Footballmanager 2009 Atlantica Online ...
Thanks for your attention :)
Greetings
P.s. For the reson, that the programms are going to crash without this function, I will put the Severity to "Mayor" ... I hope thats ok! :)

--- Comment #2 from Andrew Nguyen arethusa26@gmail.com 2011-05-21 13:19:38 CDT --- Is there any evidence that the missing handling for the ioctl is responsible for the application failures? fixmes aren't necessarily a problem.

--- Comment #3 from Egon Ashrafinia wubbbi@gmx.de 2011-05-21 14:45:48 CDT --- Look at this:
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.emulators.wine.devel/84515
and this:
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-users/2010-April/071019.html
and this:
http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/aion-prolem-und-musste-beendet-werden-hilf...
All of them crashes because of missing ioctl!
Also: a fixme can cause a crash. Well more the point that something has to be fixed. Also:
Look at this log: http://bugs2.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=27534
It can only crash because of mission ioctl!

--- Comment #5 from Jeff Zaroyko jeffz@jeffz.name 2011-06-01 22:51:32 CDT --- fixme's are not bugs. You should file a bug per program that doesn't work if there isn't a bug already open for it.
