Running a recent wine build (git update shortly before 1.1.24 release, but after including recent fixes to repair breakage of Thief 2), the Thief 2 Demo crashes with the attached backtrace.

Wasn't quite sure what to do, but it seems that adding a "quartz (native)" override in the Libraries tab is enough to get it working!
Yes, now it works properly. Looks absolutely dreadful in software rendering mode, but as hardware rendering seems to work perfectly, I guess that's not interesting.
I guess this identifies a bug in Wine Quartz?

Ah. Seems I didn't understand properly. Also setting the override to "disabled" is enough for play to work. I guess the cut scenes just silently fail in this case.
Guess I'll try downloading a quartz.dll from somewhere random and see what that does.

Ok, downloaded quartz.dll from dll-files.com, placed file in game directory (same directory as .exe), configured Libraries override to "native" for quartz -- and it still crashes.
