Bug ID: 45226 Summary: Photoshop Elements 12 - PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe throws backtrace on registering with Adobe ID Product: Wine Version: 3.7 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: maiktapwagner@aol.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 61457 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=61457 Backtrace on wine 3.7
Hello everyone,
I just tried to install Photoshop Elements 12 in a clean prefix but unfortunately it didn't work out. Installing "Common shared technologies" took ages and I eventually terminated the installation.
Some files were copied though and I tried starting the .exe mentioned above. I noticed when trying to sign in with an AdobeID the application throws a backtrace which I am attaching here.

--- Comment #1 from Louis Lenders xerox.xerox2000x@gmail.com --- try ``winetricks corefonts`` that probably gets rid of the crash you mention. Can you try that anf report ack please? thanks

-> 'winetricks -q corefonts'
It has already been mentioned a couple of times in appdb entries for Adobe products (for example https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=27371) and Bugzilla (for example https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32342#c16)
The older Photoshop Elements 11 appdb entry had this issue already referenced Always check appdb product entries for existing issues - even if the entries are poorly maintained/outdated.
