I have a feeling that bug #1352 is what prevents newer TakeCommand/32 versions from running. I have no idea what causes this bug.
Well, this bug seems quite difficult to track; even debugmsg using +relay doesn't seem to give any meaningful information. I have considered reverse engineering the code in order to see where the buggy pointer comes from, but I probably won't have time to do that. Reverse engineering wouldn't be that hard, really, because it crashes soon after process starts up, but it would still require lots of work.
