Allow mouse grab for directx apps is enabled, but game can't grab cursor - so
mouselook is completely unusable.
No clues appear in log, at least with default debug level.

Same problem encountered in another small game: Dead Boys -- but that one uses
DX5, hope it will help you to find problem.

That function doesn't work in Wine for at least 4 years. I'm not sure what it's
doing in winecfg anyway.

Just tested wine 1.1.8: problem still exist in Project Nomads. DeadBoys just
hang...

Project Nomads 1.2 works in Wine 1.0.1 (Ubuntu Intrepid).

installer fails for me (runs, then exits silently). Silent install works though
(/s). Running the game gives the same problem.

Mouse warp is working with Wine 1.3.20. No additional settings in registry or
in winecfg required.
