Summary: Psychonauts: Mouse buttons need to be reassigned every play Product: Wine Version: 1.1.33 Platform: PC-x86-64 URL: http://www.gamershell.com/download_8864.shtml OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: ezekiel000@lavabit.com
Everytime I load up Psychonauts I need to rebind or reassign the three mouse buttons to their actions. It seems that before reassigning the mouse buttons the actions will be assigned to the keyboard buttons nummber 1-3 rather than mouse button 1-3.
Running Ubuntu 9.10 amd 64 with onboard Geforce 8200 running official nVidia drivers version 185.18.36.

--- Comment #2 from Jeffrey Pfau archaemic.spam@gmail.com 2010-01-29 21:47:03 --- I seem to be affected by a bug similar to what's described here on 1.1.37, except that after relaunching Psychonauts, the mouse buttons, when attempting to remap, show up as keyboard buttons 1-3. Additionally, most of my joypad mappings get unmapped in the process. The joypad mappings always seem to show up as miscellaneous keyboard, and, occasionally, mouse buttons, however, and never as joypad buttons. For example, analog stick 2 Y axis shows up as F3. It still works after mapping, though, until I restart the game.

--- Comment #3 from Jeffrey Pfau archaemic.spam@gmail.com 2010-01-29 22:39:42 --- After looking at the actual configuration file stored in the Profile directory, I see that the mouse buttons I mention in the previous comment are in fact joypad buttons.
Upon editing the profile settings (the .ini), it seems to have much difficulty either parsing this file, or translating the parsed version into the engine.

--- Comment #4 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2011-10-02 11:45:46 CDT --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 1 year. Is this still an issue in current (1.3.29 or newer) wine?

--- Comment #7 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 1 year. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.31 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.31 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).
