------- Additional Comments From tuharsky@misbb.sk 2006-02-01 03:42 ------- Now I cite the e-mail from Allexandre Julliard, the author again of the second patch that has broken things.
"This patch is the one that moved the dll overrides keys to the registry, so it probably breaks things for you because you haven't configured things in the right place. You have to configure odbccp32 as native in the registry after that patch. Using winecfg is probably the easiest way to do it."
I did my first (so far just poor) experiments wint DLL overrides. Winecfg is able to run for a half minute until it crashes, but there is a notion, that winecfg is just too new and it dosen't change things so far, only allows to view. I have tried to change some DLL overrides, and seemed that settings are remembered, however I'm not sure if they are actually working either.
Any suggestions?
