Text dump from terminal when installing jre-8u121-windows-x64

Note: I didn't do a clean install of 2.2, I went from 1.9 - I don't know if
that would affect

Other similar bugs differ from my case.

Platform is OS X 10.12.3 (16D32)

I found a workaround.
Turns out this .exe makes an .msi file within /users/appdata/java
I ran that msi using msiexec /i and I was able to install Java, but I won't
mark this as resolved before someone else takes a look.

Provide the same exe you used...Link is enough.

I can't copy the exact link because of javascript it seems, but it's the
jre-8u121-windows-x64.exe file in:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-21331...

The one marked as "Windows x64 Offline"

bug 42498 is about jre-8u121-windows-i586.exe maybe these have the same issue?

This bug report seems to be dupe of bug 42398. It's the same version at title.

Also "Does winetricks -q jscript or winetricks -q jscript ie8 help?"

is said to be a workaround.
