Log file

The Video shown at the beginning of Diablo (before the start screen) isn't
shown automagicly.But it should be.You can start it by hand and it works
without problems.
(It's the same installation I tested under Windows and there the Video was
shown)

Same behavior on windows. I did the clean install under WinXP, saved Blizard
registry before starting the diablo 2 and then compared with the ones after i
visited the Battle.net.

So there are three intros:
 1. Blizzard
 2. Blizzard NORTH
 3. "1st Cinematic"

When i remove the following registry keys, i got the 3rd cinematic back to wine
on Diablo2's start up :
