Summary: Textures are not properly rendered in game Product: Wine Version: 1.3.0 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: lukp12@gmail.com
In menu and in game console spams: "fixme:d3d:state_wrap (WINED3DRS_WRAP0) Texture wrapping not yet supported". The game runs very slow, unplayable. I've also noticed short moments, when everything is upside-down - just when moving the mouse. It makes the game unplayable.

--- Comment #2 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2010-08-08 17:32:33 --- Can you reproduce this with the downloadable demo ( e.g. http://www.ausgamers.com/files/details/html/9412 )?

--- Comment #3 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2010-08-08 17:46:06 --- Better download site, perhaps: http://www.fileplanet.com/133479/130000/fileinfo/Deus-Ex:-INVISIBLE-WAR-Demo

--- Comment #4 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2010-08-08 18:09:22 --- The downloadable demo seems to be quite playable for me on my nvidia gt 220 / intel e8400 cpu using the closed source nvidia drivers, but that's a much faster card than you have...
I do see lots and lots of console lines like this: fixme:d3d:state_wrap (WINED3DRS_WRAP0) Texture wrapping not yet supported

--- Comment #5 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2010-08-08 18:10:59 --- Can you attach a more complete log?

--- Comment #6 from Łukasz lukp12@gmail.com 2010-08-09 08:24:27 --- I can confirm, that problem exists in demo also. But I see, that screen is moved by down, so slow speed+ low visibility makes it unplayable.
From time to time, next to the:
"fixme:d3d:state_wrap (WINED3DRS_WRAP0) Texture wrapping not yet supported" appears also: "err:d3d:context_apply_clear_state >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_OPERATION (0x502) from glDrawBuffers() @ context.c / 2159"

--- Comment #8 from zil zilforever@gmail.com 2010-08-09 14:41:33 --- With 9600GT and new NVIDIA drivers game is playable, no lag, no textures problems. The only weird thing is i only can turn around like 630 degrees (almost 2 times) and the cant turn left or right.

--- Comment #9 from Łukasz lukp12@gmail.com 2010-08-09 16:35:21 --- There is a LARGE difference between 9600 and my 7050. The fact is, than even in my hardware configuration game should run without any problem. When you use faster graphic/processor it's normal, that game run properly. But there IS slowdown, that you just don't see, because of the graphic card power. As I remember, I haven't noticed slowdown on Radeon 3870 - just because it is strong graphic card.

--- Comment #10 from Roland Haeder roland@mxchange.org 2011-12-01 16:24:34 CST --- I wrote in an other ticket that I have slowdowns here and there (really randomly, not on specific maps) but they disappear after some time (after around 10-15 seconds) and FPS is >30 as I guess (how do I turn on FPS counter in DX2:IW?). So far all textures looks perfectly rendered to me (no black things in it) except the pre-rendered movies with that black boxes here and there.
