The game downloads, installs, and updates perfectly. To start the game you open
the "updater" the press start. When you press start it will update your game
and then start it. It updates perfectly, but does not start afterwards. This
game, in turn, does not work at all through wine because you cannot start it.
There are no error messages when it fails to start, it just simply does not
start.

Which version of Wine are you using?  Please use 1.1.32 or newer.

Search before creating dups. Games with GameGuard don't and won't work on Wine.
