this is the console output when zubu reader is run and subsequently crashes

ZubuReader worked flawlessly uptil 1.1.15. 1.1.17 onwards, the main library
showing the magazines available open correctly. Only when i try opening a
magazine to read, it crashes and wine shows me the error dialog.

ZubuReader was installed to a clean wineprefix so there is no contamination
whatsoever from other apps. winetricks has also not been used.

I'm not sure how to test this as the program is in chinese but after a few
clicks on screen buttons I get a crash in 1.3.36. Is there an english version?
Or maybe Qian can help testing =)

To crash it I closed the first screen (which seems to be some kind of login)
and the clicked the View Library button. The standard crash box appeared saying
the Delivery.exe app crashed.

There is indeed a crash when doing some actions but it's not related to d3dxof.
I tried to click every where to get the d3dxof crach but without success.

Sure, my pleasure.

Seems there is no English version. I'll test it tomorrow. My network connection
is to poor to download the Software now.

I've searched the Bugzilla with "Chinese" as a keyword, will retest those
Chinese software later. If any one is investigating at any Chinese software
please feel free to CC me :)

Hello, I can reproduce the crashing:

wine-1.3.36-72-g8d66ca1

$ cd ".wine/drive_c/Program Files/Zubu Reader"
$ LANG=en_US.utf8 wine Delivery.exe

with LANG=en_US.utf8, Delivery.exe will display as English.

Close the first window and click on the "Check for Publication", then
Delivery.exe will crash. But I can't reproduce the crashing if I click on the
"View the Library" button. Click on the "View the Library" button will bring me
to an embed iexplore which works quite well.

winetricks ie7 can work around the crash.

Full log with gecko debug info will be attached.

I'm not sure whether the crash reported by the original reporter is the same as
mine, since I can't login to ZubuReader either with or without `winetricks
ie7`. There is no ebook to download without login to ZubuReader.

Thanks for reminder.

I still can't reproduce the crashing described by the original reporter, I
guess my ZubuReader version is different with the OP, I suggest to resolve this
bug as abandon,  Bug 29530 is more interesting IMO, after login with that
version of ZubuReader, I can successfully read magazines.
