Beta testing of Roots Magic Version 8, all versions.

Using "Uninstall" the product appears to install correctly. At startup Roots
Magic asks for license confirmation then proceeds to selection of Licensed
System and free system. Selecting Licensed System brings up window to enter
name and key. Clicking in the Name box results in the disappearance of the
cursor and entering the name is not possible. Cancel takes to an error message
but details are not available. This error not on Windows 10.

Under 6.12 it is possible to enter registration details, but progressing to
opening the application fails. Encounters "a serious problem and needs to
close".

Clicking "Show Details", any detailed information fails to load.

Running the installer from Wine's Add/Remove Programs, I'm still receiving the
boot error and the same absence of details, but the noted the message at the
command line:

$ 0154:err:virtual:virtual_setup_exception stack overflow 1476 bytes in thread
0154 addr 0x7bc54b85 stack 0x230a3c (0x230000-0x231000-0x330000)

Above was running latest Wine 6.13. Download link for latest RootsMagic version
