i installed VCRedist 2005 & 2008 plus dotnet via winetricks and got max to show
its spashscreen
but then it does nothing more

Hello,

if the installer is meant then it's most likely a dupe of bug 12532

If app startup itself is meant then the install has most likely been cheated
using copy over/half install which would make the bug invalid.

Assuming the bug reporter is talking about installer.
