Everything's in the title : this old game doesn't run on Wine. At least it doesn't work out of the box because I already succeeded at launching the game but I don't remember how I did ...
As the game check for the Windows version I tried with every version available in Wine 1.1.0 : - on 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 95, 98 and ME : the game ask for the original CD which is of course already in - on NT 3.5/4.0, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008 : the game find the CD but crashes ( see attachment for log )

--- Comment #2 from Coste Charly changaco@laposte.net 2008-07-14 02:28:30 --- My distro is OpenSUSE 11, I got wine version with PlayOnLinux but the same thing happens with the 1.1.1 version of my distro, just the number of modules changes in the errors log. My E: drive is a FAT32 shared partition but the problem doesn't come from here because I just tried to install it in C: drive and the same error appears. I installed the program with wine and the installation works perfectly.

WINEDEBUG=+relay,+seh,+tid wine "E:\Programmes\America\AmericaAddOn.exe" &>/tmp/relay.log && grep -A 20 -B 3000 "Unhandled page fault" /tmp/relay.log > /tmp/relay.txt
and attach the file /tmp/relay.txt to this bug? thx

--- Comment #7 from Coste Charly changaco@laposte.net 2008-07-15 07:06:43 --- I just tried but relay.txt is empty ...
Would you like me to send a particular part of relay.log ?

--- Comment #8 from Louis Lenders xerox_xerox2000@yahoo.co.uk 2008-07-15 15:16:47 --- You could attach the whole file (bzipped2) /tmp/relay.log. If it's not too large

--- Comment #13 from Coste Charly changaco@laposte.net 2009-02-18 05:49:48 --- I have wine 1.1.15-1 on Arch Linux now and the game starts.
The mouse is totally laggy and doesn't act logically so it's not playable. Should I file a new bug for that ?

Yeah, but check for dupes first. There are a few 'mouse laggy' bugs already.
