wine-0.9.54, Ubuntu 7.04, works for me. game starts up and displays a maze with a green object - does not crash.
can you test with a clean ~/.wine by moving or removing it?

You could be right, I submitted the file to a free virus scan service http://virusscan.jotti.org/ and it's identified as Backdoor.Win32.GF.13x.A
