Check your xorg.conf. It seems to have some more problems after that (Gameguard copy protection, which is still flaky under wine).

I fixed the nvidia driver bug with the well known
Option "DynamicTwinView" "false"
workaround.
The game is free. Are you sure that there is a copyprotection inside?
I created a new crashlog an attached it.
PS: Now it sets the resolution correctly.

--- Comment #4 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2007-12-31 13:09:11 --- Meant to say anti-cheat. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GameGuard. You can check for yourself, you should have several files name gameguard in the program folder.
I'm not seeing the same crash as you, either by launching flyff.exe or neuz.exe (flyff pops up a gameguard error, and neuz exits after a few fixmes). I have a feeling we're using different programs. Which download link are you using from the link above/what's the md5sum? (I've got 894170aa4e02acb7a881ee87f1801b9c GE_V9_Install_20071113.exe)
As for your crash, can you see if a native gdi32.dll works around it?

Where can i get a native gdi32.dll? I own some Windows licences but dont have a running windows installation. Is there an easy way to extract it from the cab files?

That's not you have been asked for. You need to redirect output to a file, then compress the log as requested and attach it.

bzip2 -9 bug.out or bzip2 -9 -z bug.out not seems to be work (over 5 min no response). Is there a similiar command with another tool for it?

We need the entire log, not 100 last lines. Attached bug_compressed.bz2 is only 981 bytes, how large is the whole compressed log?

You might try with rzip, it sometimes does better than bzip2.

Split the log in two, and compress the two parts.
