HoMM3 crashes within a few minutes of playing. The crashes do not seem to be caused by anything specific in-game, but instead happen rather randomly.
The following error appears in Terminal when this occurs:

Please before filing a bug report look for attached bugs for HoMAM3 at AppDB, then use bugzilla's search. This one is easy to find...
To your problem, be sure you are running kernel version higher than 2.6.34.

I believe this is a Wine bug though, as the game ran flawlessly for me before I upgraded to Wine 1.3.

Hmmm... Did you read that carefully bug 20380? Are you sure you did not missed http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20380#c3 ?? Sure it used to worked... Don't reopen until you will have kernel 2.6.34 nebo 2.6.35 please.
